Parker Country Festival (formerly known as Parker Days!)
June 13, 14 & 15th
A combination of beautiful Colorado weather, rides and games, FREE live entertainment and more than 120 fun-filled arts and crafts booths in the Market Place provide the community with a fantastic weekend of fun. A special area known as Kids Country features special activities for children, such as unique bounce houses and a family entertainment stage.
Saturday morning of the Festival ushers in the traditional hometown parade. Each year, Mainstreet and Victorian Drive is lined with families enjoying a variety of parade entries, including floats, marching bands, horses and vintage cares. Several civic organizations and nonprofit groups host special events as well, such as community pancake breakfasts.
A great way to get involved in your community is to volunteer at the Festival!
For more than 30 years, the Parker Country Festival has been the signature summer event of the Parker Chamber of Commerce, uniting Parker in community pride. With more than 100,000 people attending over the three days, it is an event that simply cannot be missed. Visit the official Parker Country Festival Web Site for information on attending, exhibiting, or entertaining at the 2008 Parker Country Festival.

In 2008 the PAC will present “Bleacher Bums” written by The Organic
Theatre Company.
In the bleachers at Chicago's Wrigley Field, die hard Cub fans root for
their team. The group includes a rabid cheerleader, a blind man who
follows the game by transistor radio and does his own play by play, a
bathing beauty, a nerd and various other bleacher denizens. As the game
proceeds, they bet among themselves on every conceivable event, go out
for frosty malts or beers, try to pick up the bathing beauty and,
occasionally, watch the game. The Cubs inevitably blow it in the ninth
and the villainous Marvin, who always bets against the Cubs figuring he
can't lose, cleans up. The bleacher bums remain undaunted they will be
back tomorrow to root for the home team.
Come spend an enjoyable afternoon at O’Brien Park on August 2, 2008 and
watch this nine-inning comedy. For additional information on specific
times, and locations please refer back to our website in June 2008.
