If you haven’t visited this fabulous coffee shop, you simply must put it on your “to do” list. To call it a coffee shop really isn’t doing it justice. It’s a unique free standing building that is hidden and tucked away behind the park’n ride and the McDonalds on the North West corner of Lincoln and Jordon in Parker.
The patio in the summer time is just delightful but at this time of year, comfy seats on the couch in front of the fireplace are what’s in the greatest demand.
Not only do they serve the usual flavored coffee, latte’s, machiatto’s they also have a large variety of tea and fresh homemade goodies that are simply impossible to resist. A favorite seems to be the gooey homemade cinnamon rolls and the chocolate pumpkin loaf. (my personal favorite) along with oatmeal or a tasty breakfast burrito wrapped in a tomato basil wrap. This location also has a frequent sippers card and a drive through option. You do have to look for this little gem but it’s worth your trouble.

This jewel on Mainstreet is owned by a Parker Native Josh RIvero. The name Fika (pronounced fEka) is a Swedish word meaning to “meet over coffee.” There’s not a better spot in the historic district in Parker to do that than this hometown coffee shop housed inside a building that was originally the Rhode Island Hotel.
Try one of the signature drinks that are listed to the left of the cashier and enjoy any of their yummy homebaked pastries or the breakfast burrito’s that area always fresh and ready for you.
