PARKER DAYS FESTIVAL 2021 CANCELLED
For the second year in a row, Parker Days is cancelled
2022 Dates are TBA
In a press release from the Parker Chamber of Commerce who organizes the festival each year they said.
“Due to the uncertainty of potential restrictions by State and local health officials on large gatherings for this upcoming event season, the challenges of monitoring and enforcing social distancing of large events, and the amount of advance preparation necessary in order to facilitate the event, the Parker Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation has made the very difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Parker Days Festival. According to the CDC, events with the highest risk of spreading COVID-19 are large in-person gatherings where attendees come from outside the local area and maintaining social distance is difficult.
It remains unclear as to how or when large festivals and events will be able to resume and a festival of this nature takes considerable advanced planning and coordination. Many people work diligently to put on this event, including sponsors, vendors, volunteers and staff. Delaying this decision would result in many of these partners being left in a state of uncertainty and inability to make plans.
Therefore, while we are disappointed that we will not be able to provide a Parker Days Festival this year, we want to assure the community that the Chamber of Commerce staff is working hard to create exciting activities for Parker in the latter half of 2021, and we are looking forward to a spectacular Parker Days Festival in the near future once it is safe to again put on this great event.”
Dates for 2022’s Parker Days Festival has not yet been released.

Parker Days Parade
Nothing says community like a good parade, and the Parker Days parade represents the best of Parker. This year’s parade theme is Let’s Celebrate Parker! Participants will celebrate the things they love about Parker – favorite places, friendly people, a special memory, significant moments in the Town’s history. The event includes high school marching bands, floats, horses, and more! Since the parade route fills completely, and the streets close early we suggest you arrive an hour early to reserve your spot along the parade route on Mainstreet and Victorian Drive. The announcer’s stand is at the corner of Mainstreet and Pikes Peak Drive in front of the Parker Chamber of Commerce. Remember the parade goes all the way around Victorian Drive so if Mainstreet gets too crowded, you may find better viewing along Victorian Drive!
Food, Soda, and Beer
Tickets are sold for $1 each in the Primary food vending location. The primary food booth is in O’Brien Park parking lot and the secondary food vending area is on Mainstreet and Pine Drive. The Secondary area food vendors will accept cash only. Tickets are non-refundable but can be used for food, beer, and soda.
Pay parking is available at the Parker Station parking lot. Fees collected at both lots benefit local non-profits and start at $5 for the day. Handicap parking is in the Parker Water Lot and at PACE Center. Do NOT park in retail store parking lots during the event as your car may be towed at your own expense in area’s marked as such.
At the festival, you will find great finds crafts, art, home goods, and more. Bring your wallet for all of these fun treats.
Please note that Mainstreet will be closed at Parker Rd. All access to parking facilities are via Longs Way or Pine Drive. Click on the icons on the map below to get directions to your desired parking location.
