We have two wonderful parades in Parker each year. One as a kickoff to the annual Parker Days Summer Festival in June and the other the picturesque horse and carriage parade that happens each December.
We will be updating this page for the current information on dates, and times along with who to contact to be a part of these community parades.
A Parker Christmas Holiday Tradition
Saturday, December 12 at noon
Come and experience that holiday feeling in the air and enjoy this all-equestrian parade made up of dozens of horse-drawn carriages, wagons, minis and marching bands, surreys and stagecoaches from across Colorado, all dressed up for the holidays. With a different theme each year, the parade continues to grow in size and is a staple event for Parker.
Join the fun on this special afternoon when the streets are lined with families and eager children hoping to catch a glimpse of Santa.
A Parker Holiday Favorite
In celebration of the holiday season, the Parker Christmas Carriage Parade is a valued tradition held annually in downtown Parker. The Town of Parker and the Colorado Driving Society present this exciting event on the second Saturday of December each year. The parade is free to attend. Come and experience that holiday feeling in the air and enjoy this all-equestrian parade made up of dozens of horse-drawn carriages, wagons, surreys and stagecoaches from across Colorado, all dressed up for the occasion. With a different theme each year, the parade continues to grow in size and is a staple event for Parker.
Event-goers also enjoy two-holiday markets, a petting zoo and pony rides, ice sculpting and visiting time and pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Claus!

Parker Days Parade
Join the fun with your friends and family at the Parker Days Parade on Saturday, starting at 10 a.m..!
The parade will travel from PACE Center West on Mainstreet to Victorian, then turn right or North on Victorian all the way around and back to Mainstreet then right again on Mainstreet heading East and returning to the PACE Center.
Having an entry in the parade is a great way to showcase your business, organization, non-profit, or general silliness (clowns, jugglers, fire twirlers, lawn mower riders, and sword swallowers — this is you).
Types of entries include:
- Marching Band Units
- Drill and Dance Teams
- Clowns, Jugglers, Fire Twirlers, … etc.
- Antique/Specialty Vehicles
- Equestrian Teams
- Horse Drawn Carriages
- Invited Guests and Dignitaries
One thing the Parker Days organizers would like to see more of in this year’s parade are a number of more traditional floats — decorated flatbeds behind a truck — so they are going to give your entry a discount if you develop a float for your entry. Applications will be available at parkerdaysfestival.com
