Skateboarding: SkateStart Level 1
This camp is for beginner skateboarders or those who have never tried the sport and want to test it out. With the unique patented SkateStart skateboard (provided for use during the camp) kids between the ages of 5 and 12 learn how to push and roll the skateboard through proper technique and foot placement. Camp will be held on September 29 from 9 – 10:30 a.m. at Railbender Skate & Tennis Park. Cost is $55 per Parker resident and $60 for non-residents.
Please bring a helmet, athletic shoes (no open toed), water and a snack. Pads are encouraged. Be ready to take home some free stuff, too! A make-up date will be provided if inclement weather becomes an issue.
