Downtown Parker Wine Walk is back this summer thanks to the Parker Chamber of Commerce and the local businesses.

The Chamber has canceled its Wine Walk events for July & August of 2023
In order to implement important changes to strengthen compliance with state and local requirements governing events with alcohol.
The Parker Chamber of Commerce’s summer Wine Walk events are an economic driver for Downtown Parker. More than two dozen participating merchants use the five annual Wine Walks to build relationships with new customers and draw attention to their products and services. Wine Walks are also wonderful community events, each bringing nearly 1,000 individuals for a fun night out in Parker.
A complaint was filed with the State Liquor Enforcement Division against the most recent Wine Walk event. Specifically, there is work to be done to better control the consumption of wine inside participating businesses and off streets, sidewalks, and other public areas. This pause gives us an opportunity to make some proactive changes that will make future events safer and more compliant with state and local requirements.
We will be using this time to meet with each participating member business to review requirements, evaluate troublesome areas, and fix what needs fixing. At our next Wine Walk, you’ll notice more volunteers, more signage, and more controlled areas for our participating member businesses.
We want Wine Walks to be the fantastic, fun community event you’ve come to expect. We look forward to welcoming you to a new and improved Wine Walk event on Friday, August 25.
Thank you for your patience as we work this out. If you are someone who comes to Wine Walk, thank you. As we move forward, we will be asking you to help us stay compliant by only consuming wine inside the participating locations.
Thank you to our participating members, exhibitors, sponsors, and volunteers. Your partnerships with us are critical. Thank you also to the Town of Parker staff for their assistance.
Those who have purchased tickets to the July event will be contacted for refunds or credits to future events immediately. Participating businesses will be contacted shortly by our staff to set up meetings to prepare us for August. Exhibitors, sponsors, and other partners will also be hearing from our staff, as well.
Thank you for your support of the Parker Chamber of Commerce.
The Wine Walk is a very popular way for long-time residents to meet new neighbors and new residents to make friends and learn about the wonderful restaurants and shops that are kind enough to share a taste of wine and open their doors for this monthly event.
