Adult Pickleball at the Parker Fieldhouse

September 7, 2021 By Chrissy

Adult Pickleball

Looking for something new? Try pickleball! Pickleball is a racquet sport which combines badminton, tennis and table tennis. The sport is played on a smaller court with a net that’s just a bit lower than a tennis net and is played with a hard paddle and a whiffle ball.

Pickleball is accessible to a wider range of players than tennis, particularly children, and seniors because it is played on a smaller court and the speed of pickleball is slower than that of tennis. If you haven’t played before, they will teach you. If you have played, there is good competition to be had. It can be played both indoors and outdoors.

The Parker Fieldhouse offers drop-in pickleball for ages 18 and older. Paddles and balls are available. The program does not take place during school breaks. Call 303.805.6300 for more information.

For more information or to register, visit www.ParkerRec.com or contact Bob Bullock at bbullock@parkeronline.org or 303.805.6311.
